We’re proud to share some exciting news!

On Friday 26th September 2025, we attended the 13th Community Inspiration Awards, an incredible evening dedicated to recognising those making extraordinary contributions across our communities – from passionate individuals to public sector staff, businesses, and voluntary organisations.

We were shortlisted for the Community Reassurance Award, which honours individuals or teams who go above and beyond to improve community safety or reduce fear of crime.

And we won!

The chair of trustee, Beverley Stephens, Service coordinator, Lorraine Edwards BA (Hon) ECS, FDA (Hon) SLICT and trustee Novlette Paris-Reece were truly honoured to receive the award, presented by Mark Smith, High Sheriff of the West Midlands, and Supt. Karl Thomas of West Midlands Police.

This achievement is a reflection of the hard work, passion, and dedication of the entire Shape team. We’re so proud of everyone involved in making our communities safer, more supportive, and more connected.

👏 A huge congratulations to all the winners, runners-up, and nominees – each of you are making a real and lasting impact every single day.

Thank you to the organisers at The Community Foundation for such an inspiring evening. Here’s to continuing the work that brings about positive change
